Fully functional Canon Speedlite 199A. It has been tested and is in first-class working order. The Canon Speedlite 199A is an automatic electronic, direct contact flash designed especially for the Canon A-1, AE-1 Program, AE-1, AV-1, and AT-1 SLR cameras. It mounts into the camera's accessory shoe, where it couples directly with the camera. On the A-1, AE-1 Program, and the AE-1, the 199A permits full autoflash. As soon as the pilot lamp glows, the shutter speed of these cameras is automatically set to the x-sync speed of 1/60th of a second, and the aperture is set automatically to the same aperture which has been placed on the flash. The 199A was the largest and most powerful shoe-mount flash made for Canon's A-series cameras. The bounce head is beneficial for portraiture and interiors when you want to avoid harsh direct light. The flash requires 4 AA size batteries.
