TEKTON 3/8 Inch Drive Hex and Torx Impact Bit Socket Set with Rails and Tray, 32-Piece (5/32-9/16 in., 4-14 mm, T20-T60) | SIB91202

Tekton Impact Bit Sockets have a two-piece design that allows us to optimize the steel alloys, heat treatments, and forming processes for the bit and socket separately, resulting in a tool that's higher performing and more durable than traditional one-piece impact bit sockets. The two pieces are permanently press-fit together and won't loosen over time. The socket is made from 6140 chromium-vanadium steel that's heat-treated to 40–47 HRC for use on impact wrenches. The socket is also coated with a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion. The bits are made from S2 steel that's heat-treated to 57–63 HRC to help maintain their geometry under stress. The inside of the socket's drive end has smooth walls with no detent grooves to support engagement with drive tools that use friction ring anvils. A detent pin hole on one side of the drive end also supports engagement with detent pin anvil styles. The portable organization rails have twist-to-lock clips that hold sockets securely and can be repositioned anywhere along the rail.
